Good-natured comedy of errors, with characters who are easy to like. To Say Nothing of the Dog is an amusing read, gently mocking the conventions of the Victorian era where most of the action is set. There's also many allusions to Victorian writers and poets and to 30s crime fiction, which I enjoyed.
